We’ve done a lot of peg loom weaving over the years and my kids are all fairly competent weavers now and use up a lot of scrap wool between them. We just a have a small loom and our mats are mainly used for play, but they have made the odd bag, too.

We’ve found that it’s definitely worth the time spent sewing a back onto each piece and making sure the knots are tucked in – they last so much longer.
