I’ve had these baskets a long time and inevitably they broke, pieces has been snapped off and been lost.

I was looking for the best way to fix them and possibly this is it. It’s so simple – just stack them together and weave. I used a strip of old t-shirt. Now I like them more than before.

The broken parts are still visible – but a mend shows care and gives character. Now this basket – that was two – has a story to tell.
