Tetra Pak angels

I wanted to make fold up angels as Christmas cards that double up as decorations and Tetra Pak (beverage cartons) seemed the ideal material – silver and shiny.

Once I’d got the basic shape finalised a whole host gathered quite quickly.

They are carrying stars, trumpets, bells, scrolls and harps and I tried out different hole punched patterns.

Then I made some blanks for the kids to decorate – because Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a kid’s handmade card would it? Theirs were far more colourful and joyous than mine.

Works of cARTon

Beverage cartons that hold juice, milk and liquid foods are made from a laminated combination of card, plastic and often aluminium eg brand names TetraPak and SIG. Not so environmentally friendly, but great to work with. What can you do with a carton?
