Origomi stars

This star is made from plastic bottles using a design by Javier Caboblanco. It took just 2 to get the required 8 squares. The bottles I have aren’t straight at all, they have ridges and lumps all the way up, so the squares couldn’t be ‘square’. Nevertheless it still formed a star – with imperfections unique to origomi.

I tried using aluminium, too. This has the ability to be bent and hold different shapes.

This will need some more patience to get better results. I have some ideas for better folding that I need to try.

PET Project

Looking at different ways in which PET bottle plastic can be reused.

Fascinated by folding

On the lookout for ways to fold different materials and apply folding to different uses.
