Queen Vac
Recycled costume based on Lancaster’s famed Queen Victoria statue. The dress was made to promote the launch of the Lancaster & District Recycling Directory and paraded at local community events. We called her Queen Vac because she had a quite a few pieces of my old vacuum cleaner included!

Trashion passion
I have spent a lot of time making outfits, clothes and costume out of discarded materials in the past. These days my focus is more on dressing-up costumes for the kids, and visible mending, but I hope that when the opportunity presents itself I’ll be picking this up again someday.
